Christmas Holiday Card Photos 2019
Updated: Dec 9, 2020
Happy Holidays everyone! In the midst of all the craziness of moving, we took a moment out of our day to take some adorable Christmas pictures for the family.
This was important to us because I think it is important to document special times in live. This one was particularly special for us because it is our first Christmas as a married couple AND we are about to start a new chapter of our lives in our new home (starting tomorrow OMG - blog on this coming soon)!
On the other hand, this photoshoot started out because I really wanted Rosie to have a photoshoot. After thinking about it for a couple weeks, I decided I wanted a mother-daughter photoshoot with Rosie and I. Then I realized, wow its November already! So what would be more perfect than a family Christmas photo for our first official Christmas card as newlyweds?!
Both Connor and I's outfits from this shoot can be found at this link here.
So finally, here are some of my favorite pics from our amazing photoshoot!
All of our outfit details can be found here.
I immediately reached out to a photographer I had recently met in correlation with my best friend Elise's wedding, Sara Clance! We loved the photos Sara had taken of the wedding as well as a fun quick mini shoot Sara was able to grab of Connor and I. This little shoot was very important to me because I had never seen Connor and I so natural together in front of a camera before (it is possible)! We typically did the basic smiling with a PG side hug. (As a blogger I am great as a solo act in front of the camera and Connor is still warming up to being on camera naturally). Sara directed us to do exactly what we needed to have the best candid-esk photos, which had been a huge struggle of ours in the past.
You can find Sara Clance Photography at her website, on Instagram or Facebook all linked here.
